The Army Management Staff College is educating and preparing the Army Civilian Corps and military members for leadership and management responsibilities throughout the Army through its programs -- Civilian Education System (CES) and Command Programs. CES is a progressive and sequential program that provides enhanced leader development and educational opportunities for Army Civilians throughout their careers. CES courses are centrally funded for most Army civilians in permanent appointments and Local Nationals. Seats are also available for other Department of Defense members. The CES curriculum suite includes the Foundation Course, Basic Course, Intermediate Course, Advanced Course, and Continuing Education for Senior Leaders program. We also offer the Action Officers Development course, Supervisors Development Course, and Managers Development Course. Command Programs resident courses and its Installation Force Protection Exercise program prepare installation and garrison commanders, command sergeants major and garrison staff to effectively manage Army installations.
