Installations are the Army's "face" to the nation and the world, and the home of its Soldiers and their families. Command Programs' resident courses and its Installation Force Protection Exercise (IFPEX) program prepare Installation and Garrison commanders, command sergeants major, and garrison staffs to effectively manage Army installations.
Transformation of the Army begins with educating the Army’s leaders. The Civilian Education System (CES) is a new progressive and sequential leader development program that provides enhanced leader development and education opportunities for Army civilians throughout their careers.
